Will Mike Evans Make History in the 2018 Season?

In the 2017 game against the Carolina Panthers, Evans closed in on his first 100-yard game for the season. The wide receiver caught six passes for a total of 107 yards for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, some might not know that this is the 13th 100-yard game of his four year NFL career. Only two players in franchise history, Mark Carrier with 15 and Kevin House with 14, have had more and achieved this level.

Unfortunately, the loss of the game against the Panthers left him needing 54 more yards to reach 1,000 for the season. Evans has already surpassed this mark in his first three career seasons, however if hits his fourth he will be joining iconic players Randy Moss and A.J. Green as the only players in NFL history to open their careers with four straight 1,000 yard campaigns.

Mike Evans is definitely a player to watch in the 2018 season, as his motivation and skills in the sport might just put him at that elite level.
